High-dose vitamin D for bones, muscles and the immune system

This dietary supplement contains 20000 IU (500µg) per tablet in the form of cholecalciferol. Since vitamin D can be stored by the body, it is sufficient to take 1 tablet every twenty days or half a tablet every ten days.

There is almost no other vitamin that is currently the subject of as much research and reporting as vitamin D. But what does the body actually need vitamin D for? How do we detect a vitamin D deficiency? And what can we do about it?

Function of vitamin D

Vitamin D is considered a sun vitamin because the human body forms vitamin D in the skin with the help of sunlight. It has been known for around a century but has only attracted attention in recent years. Vitamin D receptors have been discovered in almost all body cell types.

It contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and normal muscle function. It also has a function in cell division, contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus and thus to a normal calcium level in the blood.

Vitamin D deficiency is widespread

According to the German Society for Nutrition (DGE), around 60% of the population in Germany suffer from a vitamin D3 deficiency. It is also interesting to know that natural aging slows down many metabolic processes in the body. This also affects the ability to manufacture vitamin D3 in the skin. A 70-year-old exposed to the same amount of sunlight as a 20-year-old produces only about 25% of the amount of vitamin D3 that a 20-year-old produces.

To keep vitamin D levels at healthy levels, moderate exposure to the outdoors without sunscreen is necessary. However, increasing computerization and the autumn and winter months do not make this project easy for us, and normal foods only contain very small amounts of vitamin D.

Vitamin D in food

In order to take in 500 IU through food, the following should be on our daily menu: 4 eggs, 150g mushrooms (e.g. porcini mushrooms and shiitake), 150g Avocado, 250g beef liver, 200g mackerel or eel. A very good alternative to this menu is to supplement it with a vitamin D3 supplement.

Vitamin D hochdosiert

Entgegen vielen Meinungen nehme 40000 Einheiten/Woche das ganze Jahr. Das Labor ergab einen Wert von 56ml/Liter Blut. (Ideal mind. 35ml ) Das Wohlbefinden von den üblichen 1000 Einheiten/Tag hat sich bei mir mit der Steigerung um ein mehrfaches gut fühlbar verbessert. Keine Erkältungen, keine Grippe auch nicht unter erkälteten Menschen mehr. Fazit: Top nur zu empfehlen. Omega 3 und all die anderen Mineralien sollten nicht fehlen.

sehr empfehlenswert

Ich nehme davon 2 Tabletten pro Woche und täglich 200 mcg Vitamin K. Das darf nämlich nicht fehlen. Damit halte ich meinen Spiegel bei 80 - 90. Ich fühle mich viel besser seitdem ich nicht mehr der schulmedizinischen Empfehlung sondern der Hochdosisvitamin-D-Therapie folge.<br>Die Tabletten sind klein und leicht zu schlucken. Super finde ich auch, dass bei Fairvital alles glutenfrei ist.
