Selenium: for cell protection
Selenium is an essential micronutrient and an antioxidant. The trace element is contained in 50 to 100 different proteins in the body and plays a variety of roles, for example for the function of the thyroid gland and sperm formation.
Selenium is also essential for nails and hair as well as the Immune system.
Selenium from organic selenium yeast
In this process, yeast is grown on selenium-rich culture media and then dried. This allows the yeast to naturally synthesize a high proportion of organic selenium. The resulting yeast has a high concentration of the proteins selenomethionine and selenocysteine, which contain selenium; these compounds are also found naturally in plants. Organic selenium compounds can be absorbed by the body better than inorganic ones. Selenite and selenate compounds must first be converted into biologically active selenoproteins such as selenomethionine or selenocysteine in the organism.

Selenmangel ist nach wie vor w...
Selenmangel ist nach wie vor weit verbreitet und das, obwohl dieses Spurenelement so wichtig für unsere Gesundheit ist. Auf dem Markt sind viele diverse Selenprodukte auffindbar. Ich habe jedoch noch kein anderes entdeckt, das aus Paradiesnussmehl, wie das von fairvital, gewonnen wurde. Total natürlich! Noch dazu ein Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Ich kaufe nur noch dieses Präparat von fairvital. Mich hat bislang kein anderes Selenpräparat so überzeugt.

Wer also in seiner Familie Krebserkrankungen dieser Art kennt oder auch Raucher ist, sollte u.a. auf eine tägliche ausreichende Selenzufuhr achten. Im Buch aufgezeigte optimale Dosierung liegt zwischen tgl. 200 - 400 µg.
