Cordyceps sinsensis is collected and used probably since at least 1000 years. The mushroom has first been mentioned in the Traditional Tibetan Medicine in the 15th century by the doctor Surkhar Nyamnyi Dorje (1439–1475). It made its first appearance in the Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1694.

Cordyceps - ingredients

In addition to vitamins, minerals and trace elements, the Cordyceps mushroom is rich in amino acids, including L-tryptophan. In addition, the vital mushroom contains ergosterol, which is a precursor of vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol).
However, special attention is paid to the polysaccharides (beta-glucans).
