Colostrum: valuable ingredients for your precious health
Colostrum is the first milk of all mammals, including humans, and is given to new-borns during the neonatal period for a fast growth and the build-up of the body’s defences. Colostrum contains especially valuable amino acids, vitamins, minerals and antibodies (so-called immunoglobulins), which are able to support the immune system.
Since the beginning of the eighties, the ingredients and immune components of colostrum are part of scientific studies. Today the importance of highly pure colostrum as a special food for a healthy way of life is widely known. The manufacturing process of highly pure colostrum is based on the first milk of cows. It is richer in ingredients than human first milk, because calves are born without their own immune system by nature and are dependent on more vital substances.
Standardised to 30% immunoglobulin G (IgG)
Immunoglobulin G (IgG), also called gamma globulins, are an important component of the endogenous defence system. They are produced in the plasma cells. In case the body comes in contact with foreign substances such as viruses or bacteria, the IgG molecules activate defence mechanisms. This way, they are able to hold on to foreign substances (antigens) and make them agglutinate. They also attract macrophages (killer cells) and phagocytes (scavenger cells).
IgG is the immunoglobulin, which occurs most frequently in the blood: Approx. 60% of all immunoglobulins are of the type IgG.

Seitdem wir Colostrum zu uns nehmen, fühlen wir uns energiegeladener; es wirkt auch immunstimulierend - zumindest sind wir bis jetzt fit geblieben, obwohl sich alle um uns herum mit grippalen Infekt herumplagen . Ein tolles Produkt.
