Royal jelly: vitality and life energy
Royal jelly, also known as royal jelly or queen bee feed juice, is used to feed the queen bee and the young worker larvae aged 1 to 3 days. If the larvae are fed royal jelly beyond the third day of life, they develop into queen bees. Thanks to the special diet, the queen reaches 800 to 2000 times her weight within five days and her lifespan is around 60 times longer than that of worker bees.
Valuable ingredients of royal jelly
Royal jelly consists largely of the same components as bee pollen, namely protein, amino acids, fats, vitamins, sterols, minerals, sugar and water.
A special ingredient is also the fatty acid 10-hydroxy-2 -Decenoic acid found exclusively in royal jelly. Fairvital royal jelly has been standardized to 4% 10-HDA, which corresponds to 20mg per capsule.
