Fairvital Super Calcium combines calcium with vitamins D3 and K2 in a single capsule formula. One capsule contains 500 mg of calcium carbonate, of which 200 mg is calcium, equivalent to 25 % NRV, 18.75 µg of vitamin D3 (750 I.U.), equivalent to 375 % NRV, and 51 µg of vitamin K2, equivalent to 68 % NRV. With a vitamin D3 content well above 100 % NRV, the formula is high-strength in this nutrient.
Focus on calcium, vitamin D3 and K2: Calcium and vitamin D contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D also contributes to normal muscle function. Vitamin K complements the combination by contributing to the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin D3 as cholecalciferol: The vitamin D it contains is present as cholecalciferol. At 18.75 µg per capsule, 375 % NRV is provided.
Vitamin K2 as MK-7: Vitamin K2 is used as menaquinone MK-7 and complements calcium and vitamin D3 in just one capsule.
Practical daily serving: According to the label, one capsule is taken daily with a meal. With 90 capsules, the pack offers a 90-day supply at the recommended intake.

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body. Most of it is stored in bones and teeth. Calcium is found in dairy products, certain mineral waters and green vegetables, among other things.
Calcium is needed not only for the maintenance of normal bones but also contributes to normal muscle function and to normal neurotransmission. Calcium absorption is influenced by vitamin D, among other things. Different preparations contain calcium as citrate or carbonate, for example.
Vitamin D has a special position among the vitamins because the human body can produce it itself with sufficient UV-B radiation. The starting material is a compound in the skin; conversion steps then take place in the liver and kidneys. In the diet, vitamin D is found in oily sea fish, for example.
This fat-soluble vitamin contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. It is also important for normal bones, teeth, muscle function and the function of the immune system. The form known as vitamin D3 is chemically called cholecalciferol.

Mein Kühlschrank ist deutlich milchfreier geworden
Milch trinke ich kaum noch und Joghurt oder Käse esse ich wesentlich seltener als früher. Irgendwann habe ich mich deshalb gefragt, wie viel Calcium bei mir eigentlich noch regelmäßig zusammenkommt. Super Calcium mit K2 und D3 passt für mich gut zu dieser Veränderung meiner Ernährung.

Der erste Termin beim Orthopäden hat meine Einkaufsliste verändert
Es war nichts Dramatisches, aber das Gespräch hat gereicht, damit ich über Knochen plötzlich anders nachdenke. Früher hätte ich wahrscheinlich irgendein Calciumprodukt genommen. Heute gefällt mir die Kombination mit K2 und D3 deutlich besser.
