The Zinc 22 mg tablets from Fairvital provide a high dose of 22 mg zinc per tablet. The trace element is provided in the form of zinc picolinate and offers targeted supplementation of the daily diet.

Zink ist ein essenzielles Spurenelement, das an zahlreichen enzymatischen Reaktionen beteiligt ist. Gute natürliche Quellen sind Meeresfrüchte, Fleisch, Kürbiskerne und Hülsenfrüchte. Es spielt eine Rolle bei der Zellteilung und der normalen DNA- und Proteinsynthese.
Besonders bekannt sind seine Aufgaben für die Erhaltung normaler Haut, Haare und Nägel sowie die normale Funktion des Immunsystems. Zink trägt zudem zum Schutz der Zellen vor oxidativem Stress bei.
