Vitamin K comprises various fat-soluble compounds. Vitamin K1 is found in particular in green leafy vegetables; certain forms of vitamin K2 are also found in fermented foods. A well-known example is Japanese natto, which is produced with the help of microorganisms.
In the body, vitamin K is needed to activate vitamin K-dependent proteins. These include proteins of blood clotting and proteins found in bone metabolism. The individual K2 forms are distinguished by their side chains, for example as MK-4 or MK-7.
Vitamins are absorbed and stored differently depending on their solubility. With water-soluble vitamins, regular intake from food is important; fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed together with dietary fats. The exact form of a vitamin compound determines which conversion steps take place after absorption.

Blutgerinnung hätte ich ehrlich gesagt nicht mit Vitamin K verbunden
Beim Lesen über K2 hat mich dieser Punkt am meisten überrascht. Vitamin K trägt zu einer normalen Blutgerinnung bei – ein Claim, den ich vorher überhaupt nicht kannte. Ich hatte K2 bis dahin fast ausschließlich im Zusammenhang mit Knochen gesehen.

Meine Mutter sprach über Knochen, ich kam irgendwann mit K2 an
Meine Mutter hatte sich schon länger über Probleme mit ihren Knochen beschwert. Ich habe mich dann informieert was wirklich hilft und bin auf Vitamin K2 gestoßen. Habe mich dann nach dem Vergleich mehrerer Produkte für Vitamin K2 von Fairvital entschieden. Ich bin happy und meine Mutter auch :)

Effektive Ergänzung für die Knochengesundheit
Ich nehme Vitamin K2 seit einigen Monaten als Ergänzung für meine Knochengesundheit. Die Dosierung von 100µg pro Kapsel ist genau richtig für mich. Die Kapseln sind einfach einzunehmen und gut verträglich. Ich bin zufrieden mit der Qualität und werde sie weiterhin verwenden

Beim Thema Knochen hatte ich K2 lange komplett übersehen
Calcium und Vitamin D fallen einem sofort ein, wenn es um Knochen geht. Dass auch Vitamin K zur Erhaltung normaler Knochen beiträgt, wusste ich lange nicht. Genau dieser Zusammenhang war für mich der Grund, K2 einmal gezielt einzubauen.
