Focus on L-arginine: The L-arginine it contains is present as L-arginine hydrochloride. One tablet provides 1205 mg of L-arginine hydrochloride, equivalent to 1000 mg of L-arginine.
Zinc for men: Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood and to normal fertility and reproduction.
Supplemented with selenium: Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis and to normal thyroid function. The trace element thus sensibly complements this formula aimed at men.

L-arginine is a protein-forming amino acid that is both obtained from food and produced in the body. It occurs, for example, in nuts, seeds, pulses and animal protein sources. Arginine has several special tasks within metabolism.
One of the best known is the formation of nitric oxide (NO): this small signalling molecule is produced enzymatically from L-arginine. Arginine is also part of the urea cycle, in which nitrogen from amino acid breakdown is processed. The compounds arginine hydrochloride and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate are different forms of the raw material.
