Fairvital's Flora Pro 21 Bacterial Culture Complex contains 21 strains of bacteria, vitamin A and inulin in vegan DRCaps™. DRCaps™ help protect the ingredients of dietary supplements that are very sensitive to stomach acid in the body. This is achieved with special capsule shells that dissolve with a time delay. This process usually starts 50 minutes after ingestion and is complete after another 20 minutes. The sensitive bacterial cultures are thus well protected from the stomach acid.
The extensive bacterial spectrum includes 5 strains of Bifidobacteria, 13 strains of Lactobacilli, Lactococcus lactis, Streptococcus thermophilus and Enterococcus faecium.
With the prebiotic inulin and vitamin A
The food supplement Flora Pro 21 contains 200 mg of inulin per daily consumption of two capsules. Inulin is a dietary fiber that is not metabolized by humans and thus enters the intestine undigested to serve as food for bacteria.
The bacterial cultures were sensibly combined with vitamin A. Vitamin A contributes to normal functioning of the immune system and maintenance of the mucous membrane.
