Coprinus Comatus - Asparagus Mushroom
The positive properties of Coprinus were not discovered by TCM, but in Europe. Here it grows in the forest, on meadows and can often be found in gardens and along roadsides. Ingredients
The asparagus mushroom has a high content of lectins. These are complex proteins or glycoproteins that bind specific carbohydrate structures and are therefore able to dock onto the cell membrane and trigger biochemical reactions in the cell from there.
A comparative study was able to show that Coprinus has the highest Lectin activity among edible and medicinal mushrooms.
