The daily serving of three tablets provides, among other things, 250 mg of vitamin C, equivalent to 313 % NRV, 94 mg of vitamin E, equivalent to 783 % NRV, and 210 µg of selenium, equivalent to 382 % NRV. The formula thus contains several high-strength micronutrients.
Focus on micronutrients: Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels. Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
With plant extracts: The formula contains, among other things, horse chestnut extract with 20 % aescin, grape seed extract with 95 % OPC, red vine leaf extract with 15 % polyphenols, gotu kola, butcher's broom, ginkgo, ginger and hawthorn.
Standardised plant substances: Each daily serving states 180 mg of aescin, 95 mg of OPC, 15 mg of polyphenols and 8 mg of asiaticosides. Several valuable plant components are thus transparently standardised.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that, unlike many other mammals, humans cannot produce themselves. Natural sources include peppers, berries, cabbage and citrus fruits. For the body, it is important, for example, for the normal formation of collagen, a structural protein in skin, cartilage and blood vessels.
A special feature is its involvement in redox reactions: vitamin C can donate electrons and thus contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It also increases the absorption of non-haem iron from plant foods. In buffered forms, ascorbic acid is present as a mineral salt, which changes its acidic properties.
Vitamin E is one of the fat-soluble vitamins and comprises various tocopherols and tocotrienols. Vegetable oils, nuts and seeds are typical food sources. The different forms of vitamin E have similar basic structures but differ in details of their side chains.
Vitamin E has a special function within cell membranes, which contain numerous fatty acids. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. As vitamin E is fat-soluble, it is absorbed in the digestive tract together with dietary fats.

Meine frau hatte vor einigen J...
Meine frau hatte vor einigen Jahren das Problem, dass sie immer nach ca. 10 Minuten gehen sehr starke Schmerzen im linken Fuß hatte. Nach unzähligen Arztbesuchen (über ein Jahr lang) keine Erklärung, woher die Schmerzen kommen. Dann Venen-Vitamine zusätzlich zum Vitaminkomplex genommen und die Schmerzen traten nicht mehr auf. Anscheinend eine überentpfindlichkeit der Beinvenen.
