Fairvital Kelp Extract 200mg provides 200 mg of standardised kelp extract and 300 µg of iodine, equivalent to 200 % NRV, per tablet. At 200 % NRV, iodine is included at a high strength and comes from the marine alga kelp.
Focus on natural iodine: The dry kelp extract from Fucus vesiculosus is standardised to 0.15 % iodine. Each tablet thus reliably contains 300 µg of iodine.
For the thyroid and energy: Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and to normal thyroid function. Iodine also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the normal functioning of the nervous system.

Iodine is an essential trace element and a component of the thyroid hormones. In the production of thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3), it is incorporated directly into the hormone molecules. Sources include iodised table salt, sea fish and certain seaweeds.
The thyroid hormones are involved in regulating numerous metabolic processes. Iodine contributes to normal thyroid function and to the normal production of thyroid hormones. In seaweed products, the natural iodine content can vary considerably depending on the type of seaweed and where it was harvested.
With minerals, a distinction must be made between the total amount of a compound and the elemental mineral it contains. Citrate, gluconate, picolinate or bisglycinate refer to different bound forms. The figures in the nutrient table help to assess the amount of mineral actually provided.

optimale Jodversorgung
Da meine Hausärztin mir aufgrund meiner Schilddrüsenwerte empfohlen hatte, unbedingt mehr Jod zu mir zu nehmen, bin ich froh, dass ich bei fairvital das Kelp-Extrakt entdeckt habe, da ich fairvital mittlerweile seit Jahren vertraue und immer wieder begeistert bin über die gute Qualität und die gute Wirksamkeit der NEM´s.

Hatte auf Instagram davon erfahren
Ich hatte Kelp ständig auf Social Media gesehen und irgendwann doch mal nachgelesen, was Jod eigentlich alles macht. Dass es neben der Schilddrüse auch für den normalen Energiehaushalt eine Rolle spielt, war mir vorher gar nicht bewusst.

Bin positiv überrascht – habe ich schnell integriert
Ich war online auf der Suche nach Informationen rund um Nährstoffe und Haut und bin dabei überraschend bei Jod gelandet. Dass Jod auch zur verbesserung der Haut beiträgt, wusste ich überhaupt nicht.
