What are green-lipped mussels?
The green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is found in the marine waters around New Zealand and is one of the most nutritionally valuable creatures. It has a characteristic green lip on the inside of the shell, which gives it its name and distinguishes it from all other New Zealand mussels.
Ingredients of green-lipped mussel
Eight vitamins, twelve minerals and trace elements and eighteen amino acids were detected in the green-lipped mussel. This combination also seems to achieve a particularly high bioavailability.
In addition to minerals, trace elements and many amino acids, the shellfish contain a high proportion of certain sugar-like substances, the so-called glucosaminoglycans (GAG). These are compounds that are already naturally present as structural substances in the skin, connective tissue, cartilage and synovial fluid.

Auch gut für den Zellschutz!
Beim Produktnamen hatte ich zunächst wirklich nur mit Grünlippmuschel gerechnet. Interessant finde ich, dass zusätzlich Vitamin E enthalten ist, das zum Schutz der Zellen vor oxidativem Stress beiträgt. Dadurch hat die Rezeptur für mich noch einen nachvollziehbaren Nährstoff-Aspekt.

Nach vielen Jahren Sport achte ich mehr darauf, was ich für meine Gelenkauswahl mache. Die Mischung ist dabei für mich ein fester Baustein!

Nach langen Touren denke ich nicht mehr nur an meine Muskeln
Beim Wandern habe ich früher hauptsächlich auf Kondition und Muskelkater geachtet. Inzwischen interessiert mich viel mehr, wie ich auch über Jahre beweglich und aktiv bleiben kann. So bin ich überhaupt erst bei Produkten wie Grünlippmuschel gelandet.

Dose gefällt mir – so mag ich die Dose :)
Die Handhabung der Dose ist angenehm, schnell auf und wieder zu. Praktisch gemacht! Mit dem Klappdeckel komme ich sehr gut klar. Für den täglichen Gebrauch finde ich das gut gelöst.
