Two mineral salts sensibly combined: Epsom salt provides magnesium sulphate, while Glauber's salt consists of sodium sulphate. The formula thus brings together magnesium and sodium in a single capsule form. Epsom salt and Glauber's salt – Epsom salt refers to magnesium sulphate, while Glauber's salt is sodium sulphate. Both belong to the inorganic sulphate salts and differ in the cation they contain.
Its natural ingredients include different compounds depending on the raw material. In water, they dissolve into their respective ions. Taking larger amounts of such salts can significantly change the water balance in the intestine; their use is therefore not comparable to an ordinary vitamin supplement.
