Devil's claw extract: standardized extract
Fairvital devil's claw capsules contain a high-quality devil's claw extract. The valuable ingredients are the so-called harpagosides, which belong to the glycosides. They were standardized to 1.2% in this extract, which corresponds to 18mg harpagosides per daily dose of 3 capsules.
The standardization of a plant extract to a specific content of the valuable ingredients indicates high and consistent quality.
The devil's claw, which is native to South Africa and Namibia, is also called African devil's claw or trampleburdock. The plant got both names from its fruits, which have hook-like outgrowths that look like claws. These hooks make the fruit happily caught in the fur of animals that brush against the plant, helping it spread.
Soldiers stationed in Africa during World War I brought devil's claw to Germany, where it was studied at the University of Jena and became the subject of many scientific studies.
Ingredients of Devil's Claw
Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum) roots contain a variety of bioactive ingredients that may contribute to general well-being. A special feature is the high content of bitter substances, which include the so-called iridoids. Harpagoside is particularly well known. Other ingredients include e.g. flavonoids, triterpenes, phytosterols, unsaturated fatty acids, cinnamic acid and chlorogenic acid.
The roots of devil's claw are used, which have the highest concentration of valuable ingredients. In order to preserve the endangered plant, only the secondary roots are removed so that the main root is not damaged.

Mein Garten ersetzt im Frühjahr jedes Fitnessstudio

Beim Radfahren sind es nicht die Kilometer, sondern die Treppen danach
Nach einer längeren Tour fühle ich mich meistens noch richtig gut. Interessant wird es erst, wenn ich später zuhause die Treppe hoch muss. Genau solche aktiven Tage haben dafür gesorgt, dass Produkte wie Teufelskralle für mich überhaupt interessant wurden.
