Liquorice: calming for the skin and mucosa

Ingredients of liquorice
Liquorice root contains flavonoids (such as liquiritin), isoflavones (such as licoricidin), coumarins, phytosterols and polysaccharides. Slippery elm (bot. Ulmus fulva) grows on barren soils, which is why its main component is mucous. The bark contains bitter substances, tannins and mucins as well as vitamin A, B, C, K and the minerals calcium, magnesium and sodium. Additionally, it contains polysaccharides, which form a smooth substance (mucous) in combination with water.
Aloe vera is a popular vital substance for the skin
Aloe vera is known for its calming and beneficial effect on the skin and mucous membranes. The contained 200:1 extract is equivalent to a daily amount of 60g aloe vera.

Süßholz (Glycyrrhiza glabra): Süßholz ist ein Hülsenfrüchtler, dessen Wurzeln seit Langem wegen ihres süßen Geschmacks genutzt werden. Das charakteristische Aroma stammt unter anderem von Glycyrrhizin.
