Fairvital Cardivital is an extensive multivitamin and multimineral complex without vitamin K. The daily serving of two capsules combines over 30 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, plant extracts, carotenoids and coenzyme Q10.

Several high-strength micronutrients: Numerous vitamins are above 100 % NRV, including vitamin B3 at 250 %, pantothenic acid at 667 %, vitamin B6 at 714 %, vitamin B12 at 800 %, vitamin C at 383 %, vitamin E at 283 %, biotin at 400 %, riboflavin at 571 % and thiamine at 727 %. Cardivital thus offers several vitamins in high-strength form.

Sensible focus on heart function: Thiamine contributes to the normal function of the heart. The formula is supplemented by coenzyme Q10, taurine, L-carnitine, citrus bioflavonoids, grape seed extract and green tea extract, among others.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that, unlike many other mammals, humans cannot produce themselves. Natural sources include peppers, berries, cabbage and citrus fruits. For the body, it is important, for example, for the normal formation of collagen, a structural protein in skin, cartilage and blood vessels.

A special feature is its involvement in redox reactions: vitamin C can donate electrons and thus contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It also increases the absorption of non-haem iron from plant foods. In buffered forms, ascorbic acid is present as a mineral salt, which changes its acidic properties.

L-lysine is an essential amino acid and must be obtained regularly from food. It is found in particular in meat, fish, dairy products and pulses. As a building block of protein, lysine is contained in numerous tissues of the body.

One interesting role of lysine concerns the formation of collagen. Certain lysine residues in collagen are modified after protein synthesis and thus contribute to the cross-linking of the fibres. Lysine is also a starting substance for the body's own production of carnitine.

In the Fairvital product Cardivital, the formula shows the form and amount of the ingredients used. According to the list of ingredients, these include L-ascorbic acid. The composition table states 305 mg of vitamin C, 84 mg of citrus bioflavonoids (of which 50 mg is hesperidin) and 54 mg of L-lysine per 2 capsules. The pack contains 90 capsules.
