Biotin for hair, skin and metabolism: Biotin is known above all for its importance for hair and skin. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin as well as to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal macronutrient metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B7 from the B complex: Biotin is also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H and is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. As an essential vitamin, it must be obtained regularly from the diet.
5 mg per capsule: Each capsule provides biotin in a clearly defined amount of 5,000 µg or 10,000 % NRV. The easy-to-swallow capsule form allows straightforward daily supplementation.

Biotin belongs to the family of B vitamins and is sometimes also known as vitamin B7. It is found in eggs, nuts and pulses, among other foods. In the body, biotin is a component of certain enzymes involved in processing carbohydrates, fats and amino acids.
Its role for skin and hair is particularly well known: biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and normal hair. In corresponding product combinations, complementary trace elements such as zinc or selenium can perform further tasks in the maintenance of normal hair and nails.
The body does not use vitamins as classic sources of calories. Instead, many of them are needed as cofactors for enzymatic reactions or perform specific tasks in tissues. The various forms of vitamins can differ considerably in their chemical properties.

Bin dabei geblieben! Bei Haut und Haaren
Ich wollte meine Pflege nicht nur von außen angehen. Das Produkt gehört deshalb bei mir inzwischen genauso dazu wie meine normale Hautpflege. Ich habe es gleich zu meinen Ergänzungen für Haut und Haare gestellt.

Beim Haarewaschen schaue ich inzwischen weniger kritisch hin
Eine Zeit lang habe ich jedes Haar im Abfluss gezählt und mich damit selbst verrückt gemacht. Seit ich Ernährung und Pflege insgesamt bewusster angehe, fühlt sich das Thema für mich deutlich entspannter an. Biotin gehört für mich dabei einfach zu den klassischen Nährstoffen rund um normale Haare.

Beim Friseur auf das Thema gekommen
Beim Friseur kamen wir auf Haare und Nährstoffe zu sprechen und danach habe ich zuhause selbst weitergelesen. Ich wollte vor allem die Themen Haut und Haare bewusster in meiner Auswahl berücksichtigen.

Meine Nägel sind für mich der beste kleine Alltagstest
Ich arbeite viel mit den Händen und normalerweise sieht man das meinen Nägeln ziemlich schnell an. Seit ich bewusster auf meine Biotinversorgung achte, habe ich persönlich den Eindruck, dass sie insgesamt gepflegter aussehen. Solche kleinen Veränderungen fallen mir mehr auf als große Versprechen.

Meine Haarpflege war irgendwann komplizierter als meine Ernährung :)
Drei verschiedene Produkte fürs Waschen, noch Öl für die Spitzen und regelmäßig eine Kur – aber über Nährstoffe hatte ich kaum nachgedacht. Irgendwann fand ich das selbst etwas widersprüchlich. So kam Biotin bei mir überhaupt erst ins Spiel.

Die Dose lässt sich leicht öffnen, morgens echt angenehm. Das macht die Routine leichter.
