What is AAKG?: AAKG stands for arginine alpha-ketoglutarate. Here, the amino acid L-arginine is bound to alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG). Alpha-ketoglutarate is a compound produced by the body that occurs in the energy cycle of the body's cells.

L-arginine is a protein-forming amino acid that is both obtained from food and produced in the body. It occurs, for example, in nuts, seeds, pulses and animal protein sources. Arginine has several special tasks within metabolism.
One of the best known is the formation of nitric oxide (NO): this small signalling molecule is produced enzymatically from L-arginine. Arginine is also part of the urea cycle, in which nitrogen from amino acid breakdown is processed. The compounds arginine hydrochloride and arginine alpha-ketoglutarate are different forms of the raw material.
Amino acids differ in whether the human body can produce them itself. As components of proteins, many occur in protein-rich foods; some are also needed for other compounds produced by the body. The combination of different amino acids also influences the amino acid pattern of a food.

Brusttag ohne koffeinhaltigen Booster
Ich mag einen guten Pump beim Training, vertrage starke Booster mit viel Koffein aber nicht besonders gut. Deshalb wollte ich diesmal eine andere Richtung ausprobieren.
