Potassium aspartate: for normal blood pressure
Potassium is an important mineral. 98 percent of all potassium is intracellular, i.e. in the body cell, so the extracellular potassium concentration, for example in the blood, is 4.5 mmol/l, many times lower than the intracellular concentration of 120 to 150 mmol/l.
Together with calcium and magnesium, potassium supports the function of the muscles and the nervous system. The most interesting aspect of potassium, however, is that it can support normal blood pressure when consumed in sufficient quantities.
